Edit Flow is the most important plugin I've found for running a multi-author site and one of the absolute best plugins I've come across so far.
It enables a multi-author blog because it lets you move content between different queues and communicate with team members within the post editor on posts.
I don't think this plugin is actively supported anymore. That's too bad because this is a very useful plugin. There are not many options around which can do all of this.
Read this thread - https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-publish-or-update-status
And, There is another support chain that indicates the creator(s) are no longer supporting this plugin.
Exactement ce que l'on recherche comme outil de programmation de publication d'articles wordpress. Permets de planifier les articles et de gérer tout le workflow auteur->publication.
Real hidden treasure. And I found out about this today.
I im trying to replicate some separate web based platform for projects, tasks, clients, inovicing, colored post statuses, etc... With this plugin is less headache.
But, it can be used for many other things.
This plugin is fantastic in what it offers but unfortunately, the things that are broken are the little things that kill me. For example, if I quick edit a post using the WordPress mobile app, Comments will be disabled on the post. This is a conflict with Edit Flow.
I'm also not sure who is developing the plugin anymore. The contributors listed has become messy and I'm not sure if some of the people listed actually contribute anymore. I'm also not sure where to report bugs.
This plugin would easily be 5 stars and a life saver if it were updated more often and provided critical bug fixes. Until then, it's a 3 star to me.
Can't use it due to conflicts with other plugins. They fight and don't work correctly. Really bummed as the power of the custom status is really awesome. I hope they can resolve these issues!
Hi Edit Flow Team:
We love your plugin for building a large publishing site. And we also love mailpoet - the best WP newsletter plugin.
However, your plugin renders mailpoet useless. If we enable EditFlow, then any text block in Mailpoet simply disappears if we click to edit it. This has been confirmed by a few users. Please look into this and help us fix this.
