Adminimize is a WordPress plugin that lets you hide 'unnecessary' items from the WordPress backend and many many more ...
Very deep plug in, but I could not get it to do what I needed.
remove the "Profile" access from the Subscriber Role
Been using this really good plugin for about 2 years.
As of WordPress v4 it has caused more problems than it's worth. Widgets disappearing has been my primary concern. How do I know the plugin is at fault - deactivate/reactivate. So I'm forced to rebuild a client Website just to omit Adminimize.
Been a great run, but goodbye.
What can I say? Just awesome!
Long time not updated but works perfectly.
Strange, i didnt reviewed this before.
I dont know how would I dare to give login to clients without this plugin.
Maybe via my lawyer (what i never had) and signed statement that they are responsible for quick ruining their website.
We have a relatively large ecommerce site and the WP dashboard was taking almost 1 minute to load as the Woocomerce quick report dashboard widgets were loading data despite the fact we had set them not to display.
This widget turned them off completely speeding up the load time to just 3-5 seconds (not 60!). Thank you!
robust and easy to work with, this is another plugin that should be part of the core. it has immense potential and can be used to solve a lot of UX issues that people have with wp UI, by controlling visibility of default items and reducing unnecessary items from the various admin UIs.
So I'd love to bash adminimize's user-interface, but the rest of the plugin makes up for it and then some. This is perfect for what I need and I'm surprised it's free! Hard to find something this good that covers SO many membership/permissions settings that's also free!
Adminimize is simple and offers a high level of optimization.
great plugin. Combined with role manager, this is all you need to control who gets to do and access what. Just donated 20 euros. Not much but something...
