I’ve integrated carnyfeet’s fix. Should work fine now.
Thanks,

In reply to: Category Posts Widget – Broken in WP 2.6Hi, this is the developer. I tried it on a fresh WP 2.6 installation and it worked fine.
I’m not aware of any changes in WP 2.6 that would cause Category Posts to break… Maybe another plugin is conflicting with it. What other plugins do you have activated?

In reply to: Category Posts Widget with ThumbnailsI’m glad you like the plugin. I will add some classes to the list elements and links in the next release so people can style it with CSS to their liking. I also plan to utilize the new shortcode API so you can embed the widget into a post; one person has already sent me code for this which I plan on adapting.
The plugin can definitely be hacked to allow for thumbnails, but I do not plan to make this a feature in the foreseeable future. And regrettably, I do not have the time to offer individual support for free.

In reply to: Make Category Titles Into LinksI updated the plugin so that it has this option. In the configuration dialog of each widget, there’s a checkbox to turn the widget title into a link to the category page.

In reply to: Category Posts Widget with ThumbnailsHi livemtl,
This is James Lao, the creator. You’d have to hack the plugin to enable that. And depending on where you’re pulling the thumbnails from, that may or may not be a simple task. For instance, if the URL to the thumbnail image is store in a meta field, that could easily be done, but if the thumbnail has to be generated on the fly, that would be much more difficult.

Afraid not, at least not yet. This is a design I created specifically for my blog and I’d like to keep it that way for now.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: WordPress Redesign – Criticism RequestedAlrighty, I think I’ve addressed everyone’s criticisms and concerns. Take a look and tell me what you think!
All of the “things to note” I posted in the beginning of this thread still apply except for the flexible width part. 800×600 users shouldn’t need to scroll horizontally though as I’m pretty sure it’s less than 800px wide. π

I’ve changed the layout of the site in response to some of the feedback people have given me. Originally, I had the the sidenotes in a third column but have moved them below the main posts.chrishes:
I’ve made the changes on my local install but haven’t uploaded it to my server.Everyone:
So how does it look now? I know that the main column might be a bit too wide for some people but I can’t really do too much about that (at least not that I’m aware of). Note that there is some REALLY funky rendering problems in Internet Explorer with the Sidenotes section that I’m trying to figure out right now.Forum: Fixing WordPress
