  • Looks like Scriptonite beat me to it: I was using the wrong version. Yours works great on all the browsers I mentioned! Thanks.

Okay, I just loaded Dev123’s update and here are my findings:

    – Chrome v15: File downloads via the widget and admin section work properly with “ABC.pdf” and “A B C.pdf”.

    – Firefox v8: File downloads via the widget and admin section work properly with “ABC.pdf” and “A B C.pdf”.

    – IE 8: File downloads via the widget and admin section DON’T WORK properly with “ABC.pdf” and “A B C.pdf”.
    – Downloading from admin give this error: “The file is damaged and could not be repaired. Local\EWHdl’0v!9u”
    – Downloading from widget gives this error: “There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired.”

    – IE 9: File downloads via the widget and admin section DON’T WORK properly with “ABC.pdf” and “A B C.pdf”.
    – Downloading from admin give this error: “There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired.”
    – Downloading from widget gives this error: “Adobe Reader could not open ‘client-login.pdf” because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn’t correctly decoded).” It is saying ‘client-login.pdf’ even though I was downloading ‘ABC.pdf’, interesting…

I sure hope this information helps. If I can test anything else, let me know.

    Thanks.

I am having the same issues as the other users above. If I use Internet Explorer as a normal user to download a file, it works fine. But if I use Firefox or Chrome, it downloads the file with 0 bytes. I hope that bit of information helps in the resolution.
