It’s basically a string of text that’s had special formatting. ie-particular font size, color, style, and hyperlinked.
Finding help with WordPress is easy… the hardest part is knowing how to ask for it.

In reply to: New post save types?Thanks for the reply. Thats an interesting plugin but I was really hoping to simply add some different statuses. I don’t think I need all the other functions and I try to avoid plgins if possible.
Is there no way to do this from the defauly WP dashboard?

In reply to: Internet Explorer display problemSo I checked the HTML view for that post and you’re exactly right, it had a bunch garbage word coding in it. I removed it, and it fixed the problem.
I really appreciate the help. Is it only certain versions of word that do this? Because I have copied and pasted from word several times with no problems.

(The hyperlinking and so forth are not a problem. Just the things I mentioned already)The formatting messes up on both pages. Again, I have tried everything I mentioned in the initial post. It still does completely random things

Moving back to the original issue. What part of the functions.php would I put that code into? I tried several place and it displays the code as text on the screen.

So it seems as though I have a new problem. Whenever I try to edit an file I get the msg

I’ve never experienced this before. I don’t have any new plugins. Not sure what could be causing this.
