I have a multi-domain site, works alright for me, just have to make sure you follow the manual instructions correctly.
Are you using the latest wordpress? Did you upload the plugin or did you download it through wordpress?
I don’t have any errors with missing functions, could be a conflict with another plugin as well.
Redownload 0.8.6 and try again, i’ve got it running just fine no include errors. Also check your permissions.
What is the error?

Edit: Just downloaded it and installed the new files over mine, works like a charm!
