In reply to: Why does the Search widget change when I add it to my sidebar?Hello!
It’s because the search box you saw before adding the search widget wasn’t the search widget! A theme may have a unique search box and when you add the search widget you override the theme’s search box. You can modify the widgets.php file to make the search box behave more in line with the other widgets, thus accepting styling from the theme.
I think you will find the info you need in this post (http://appneed.com/corp/2008/03/13/customise-search-widget/).

In reply to: sidebar and search formGreetings!
Perhaps a bit late, but since I stumbled upon this lately, I suppose you could use some info in this post (http://appneed.com/corp/2008/03/13/customise-search-widget/)
They use another theme, but the same reason apply: The search widget simply lacks certain attributes compared to other widgets, they need to be there in order for you to style them…
Cheers!

In reply to: Admin-SSL plugin gives problemsGreetings!
May we add another problem we are experiencing with the two software versions in this thread, i.e. WordPress 2.3.3 and Admin-SSL 0.64. We cannot login, but get the error message: “ERROR: WordPress requires Cookies but your browser does not support them or they are blocked.”
Any suggestions on a remedy (other than simply deleting the admin-ssl.php file and do a non SSL login). 😉
Best Regards
