Thanks for offering check it out esmi, but I started over last night. I had more hours in trying to fix it, than just rebuilding it.
OK, thanks esmi. I uploaded another copy and when I uploaded and replaced the ‘wp-settings.php’, that did it. Or it seems to have. Now I am at a generic wordpress page. Can I recover my old page??
And I updated the database, it said complete, but sent me to a page that only reads ‘Cheatin’ uh?’ What’s up??

OK thanks for the assistance. Well, unless I did it wrong, I now get a new error:
Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Theme’ not found in /home/mkw/public_html/mylensmystory.com/wp-includes/theme.php on line 106
