In reply to: [WP-FFPC] It's works perfectlyI’m a real newbie but for the purpose of FFPC are Memcached and APC not mutually exclusive?

In reply to: [WP-FFPC] How to activate cache on pages with question marks and parameters?I think they are called query strings.
Any way I can cache those pages as independant pages?@lanark: easily done by modifying your .MO / PO file. See translating.
Correct.
What I’m looking for is a feature where a user can register to be alerted for any new events 100 kilometers around Paris (for instance!) and any new event created there will trigger an email. You mostly have all the technology for this: radius search with google maps and email system. You “just” need a registration to email alert mechanism.
I would gladly pay the premium price for this.
Sure!

You will need to register first as only registered users can create events and see that page.
thanks
Thank you. I am running W3 Total Cache.
I desactivated W3 TC and I can now save the setting. However running my site without W3TC is not an option. What solution do you recommend?
Many thanks

In reply to: [Awesome Flickr Gallery] Awesome Flickr Gallery Error – SSL is requiredOK – I fixed this while keep 3.3.6-sj
Go here:
https://github.com/ronakg/awesome-flickr-gallery-plugin/blob/master/afgFlickr/afgFlickr.phpCopy everything in a new file called afgFlickr.php
Replace (after backing up) afgFlickr.php on your version of 3.3.6 located here:
/wp-content/plugins/awesome-flickr-gallery-plugin/afgFlickrThis worked for me. Not sure this is a 100% fix as if you go here:
https://github.com/ronakg/awesome-flickr-gallery-pluginYou will find half a dozen files that relate to the new SSL changes. Those using a plain version of AFG might be tempted to update all their files with these new version.

In reply to: [Awesome Flickr Gallery] Awesome Flickr Gallery Error – SSL is requiredThat was expected. There is a version of AFG 4.0 somewhere that I need to find and update… I was using 3.3.6 updated by Susana and of course I’m having the same SSL problem. I am very surprised 3.3.5 works!
Yes.
I can change and save all other settings, just not the Show Events Search. It concerns #_LOCATIONMAP
Hi,
Under settings > layout > maps
it’s the very last field (single event – bubble format).I have this:
<strong>#_LOCATIONNAME</strong><br/> #_LOCATIONADDRESS - #_LOCATIONTOWN<br/> #_EVENTLINK<br/> #_EVENTNAME<br/> <a href="#_LOCATIONPAGEURL">Événements</a>Sorry, the fields are all translated from French
Thanks Angelo.
I saw that but feel that 100km radius is too small. I could put 100 miles to gain some reach but 300km would be better.
Thanks
BlaiseThanks Angelo – this works and solved my first problem!
Any thoughts as to my issue with:
#_EVENTLINK
#_EVENTNAME
Under Locationmap?I tried editing the #_LOCATIONMAP settings under setup>layout>events by adding the following fields:
#_EVENTLINK
#_EVENTNAMEBut when I display a single event I just get #_EVENTLINK and
#_EVENTNAME displayed – not the field they represent, the actual word Eventlink!Yes I do.
The problem is not that my users can search by geolocation. They can. But that they do not:
– have the distance radius dropdown displayed
– that I cannot offer them to search beyond a radius of 100kmBlaise
