With Cookie Consent active and no other plugins, there is no problem.
As I said before, if wp google maps pro and Cookie Consent are running concurrently – I have the image upload problem. If necessary I’ll get rid of wp google maps pro and simply embed a Google map. Thanks for your help.OK – it seems to be a conflict with WP Google Maps Pro add-on. If I de-activate that – Cookie Consent works and I can upload large images. So I can either run Cookie Consent or WP Google Maps Pro add-on. Running both produces the upload problem. De-activating either one – restores the upload facility.
