But I didn’t find a plugin that allows to Display/Hide the date in a customizable manner.
Unless I missed the right plugin, all the plugins I tested so far will apply their function on all posts, not on custom posts!
For example, I’d like to make a static message at the top of a page without date, but I didn’t figure how.
Any suggestion?

I’m wondering why WP doesn’t include simple option with each post to “Hide/Display” the date?
Because sometimes, one wants to make a welcome or introduction as a static message that does not necessarily need a displayed date!
Will this be available in WP?
By the way, is there any a new WP version in near perspective?
