In reply to: [Advanced Excerpt] Just strip HTML, and nothing moreHi @webblish
No, sorry. The plugin generates a specific excerpt based on the settings. Can’t be used only for the purpose of removing HTML.
It’s also made in a way that the posts with the “more” tag can be skipped completely and show as intended since that’s already like a manually generated excerpt.

In reply to: [Simple Basic Contact Form] reCaptcha: invalid keyHi @leoner
Are you getting it with reCaptcha v2 as well? At the moment it’s compatible with the v2 reCaptcha but not v3 (yet, will be in the next update).

In reply to: [Simple Basic Contact Form] Great contact formYou’re welcome and thank you @voodoochill
As for the addition, can you send over a bit more info, not 100% sure I understood what exactly is needed. Do you mean that you set a predefined list of possible subjects which the person contacting you will then select from in the form.

In reply to: [Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] Subscribe for all postsHi @honoluluman
Any chance those are landing in the spam folder?
Install WP Mail Logging plugin, it will log all outgoing emails. Then when a comment gets posted check to see if the notification for a new comment which WP sends to the admin is in there.
Also there’s one thing to keep in mind, the administration email is the email set in WP admin > Settings > General. It’s not the email of a user with the administrator role, there can be multiple administrator users.

In reply to: [Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] Subscribe for all postsHi @honoluluman
You’re welcome and thank you.
There is an option that is specifically related to the subscriptions. In WP admin > StCR > Options, there is an option (around the middle) called “BBC admin on Notifications”, set that to “Yes”.
But that will send a copy of every notification from the plugin to the administrator as well. It won’t send a notification for every comment.
So it’s not exactly what you are looking for.
But what you are looking for is actually what WordPress already has by default, in WP admin > Settings > Discussion, you’ll see an option called “Email me whenever”, check those checkboxes and WordPress will notify you on every comment.
Hi @wperchuc
Thanks for reporting the issue. We will get that fixed in the next update (end of this or the start of next week).
Hi @ajd
You’re welcome.
We’ll add the ability to select individual post types in the next update, should be next week.

In reply to: [Advanced Excerpt] Roll back after install plug-inThe plugin doesn’t update the excerpts, it just intercepts them before being displayed and modifies them at that point. Does not change them in the database, just the way they are displayed.
When disabled everything goes back to normal. In case it’s deactivated but still looks like it’s active then it’s most likely cache. If you have a caching plugin (or your hosting provider provides one) then please clear the cache and it should revert back to normal.
Hi @ajd
There is an option to enable it only for blog posts instead of all comment forms.
It’s in WP admin > StCR > Options. Around the middle you’ll see “Enable only on blog posts”, set that to “Yes”.
If you have some other post types where you need it then that option won’t work out, in which case let me know and we can make some changes in the next update to make it possible to disable on specific post types.
