In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Can I load a 3D Kmz Model?Thank you 🙂
I must admit, we’ve never tried a 3D KMZ file before but I’m pretty sure there shouldnt be an issue. Either way, I’m very interested to see how your 3D KMZ file works with our plugin. Please get in touch with me on http://www.wpgmaps.com/contact-us/ so we can do a trial run before hand.Hi there
Please can you get in touch with me on http://www.wpgmaps.com/contact-us/ so I can help you further as this is a pro-related query and cannot be continued on this forum. Sorry about that. Please use *Urgent* as your subject.Forum: Plugins

The pro version allows you to reference a KMZ file and will use the data you have in the KMZ file and display it on the map.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Custom Image for Map LegendHi Gene, please get in touch with us on http://www.wpgmaps.com/contact-us/
Hi there.
Sorry for the delay.
Are you by any chance using a multisite installation?Hi there.
By clicking ‘Get Directions’ on a mobile device, the directions will by default open in Google Maps.
Does this help at all?

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Custom Image for Map LegendHi there.
Unfortunately legends are not supported at the moment, however we have got plans of supporting this in the near future.
You could possibly load the image below the map and use custom CSS to move it into the map – would you be comfortable in doing this?
My apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Hi there.
Unfortunately this has not been added to the plugin yet.
Unfortunately I don’t have an ETA as to when this will be available though. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Marker Data from DatabaseHi PapaDawg.
Sorry for the confusion regarding that.
The plugin can either use the Database or XML files to load markers. On activation, a table called ‘wpgmza’ is created and all of your marker data will be stored in there. Should you choose the Database pull method, the map will load marker data directly from there.
Should you opt for the XML method, the map will create an XML file when saving, by pulling all the marker data related to that map, and creating an XML file. Thereafter, when the map loads it will load the marker data from that XML file.
Should you prefer to use an external source though, you would have to point the source URL to the new source, and change the respective fields accordingly – unfortunately this cannot be done without changing the plugin’s core functionality.
I hope this helps?
Hi there.
The plugin will create a default map on activation, if it hasn’t, there was likely an issue with a table when this occurred.
Please login to your database and confirm you have a ‘wpgmza’ and ‘wpgmza_maps’ table?
The basic version doesn’t allow you to create more than one map though – as a result, a ‘Create new’ button is not available.
Hi there.
It appears the Google Maps API is being loaded more than once on the page, which is causing an issue with your map (most likely from your theme).
Are you comfortable in removing the duplicate? It will most likely be found in the functions.php file of your theme.
Hi chook.
Thanks for posting your solution.
Please note:
We have detected a conflict between the latest version of jQuery that was shipped with WordPress 4.5 and some themes that use smooth scrolling. As a result of this, an error is thrown and your maps no longer display.
Please update WP Google Maps to version 6.3.08 and Pro (if applicable) to 5.68, then go to “Maps” -> “Settings” and check the checkbox labelled “Over-ride current jQuery with version 1.11.3 (Tick this box if you are receiving jQuery related errors after updating to WordPress 4.5)”.
Hi Richard.
Thank you for your kind words.
This can be done by setting the maps width to 100%, however you will have to make modifications to your theme’s template files to accommodate the full width map.
I hope this helps?
