Yes, in the free version.
And just for the record, there is an option in the FREE version that caters for this:
Hi PlaviPixel
Please open WPGoogleMaps.php and search for “manage_options”. Replace that with “moderate_comments” to allow editors access to the map editor.I apologize for the delay in response. I’ve had to deal with a personal emergency recently (my mother went to hospital) but all seems to have calmed down now. Sorry about that.
I see you managed to get it working?
It also appears that another plugin (or your theme) is also loading the Google Maps API which can cause issues but all seems to be OK on your map.

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] marker not showing up in mapI apologize for the delay in response. I’ve had to deal with a personal emergency recently (my mother went to hospital) but all seems to have calmed down now. Sorry about that.
I see the following error:
XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://artistinday.com/nagymnastics/wp-content/uploads/wp-google-maps/1markers.xml?u=1098. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://nagymnastics.com' is therefore not allowed access. It appears that your files are stored on another domain and JavaScript needs strict access to load an XML file over a different domain. Please have a look at the following solution: http://www.wpgmaps.com/documentation/using-the-plugin-on-multisite-installation-with-domain-mapping-enabled/
Does this help?

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Vulnerable version of timthumb.phpHi
WP Google Maps does make use of timthumb (for now) but it runs the default configuration so there shouldnt be an issue.
We’re also releasing a new version tomorrow whereby we’re removing timthumb as our thumbnail generator.
Thanks for the heads up though 🙂
Kind regards

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] bug fixed :) thank youHi there 🙂
Thank you for your message. When you move hosts, what you need to do is change the Marker XML Dir and Marker XML URL to suit your new hosting. We provide a “suggested DIR and URL” for you which you can simply copy and paste into the relevant fields. Once you do this, the markers will work once more. This can be done in the Maps->Settings page (left navigation)
Kind regards
Nick
