I’ve the same problem, but only in view “All Plugins”. Under the name “Ultimate FAQ” there is a link to settings (this needs special rights) and deaktivate the plugin.
When I got to FAQ/FAQ Settings, I can set all settings.I’m using this as admin and did’t modify any roles.

as I wrote in my review, I also like to have this feature:
1) It would be great, if the symbol at the beginning of the FAQ change, when some klick on the title.
For example HTML5 Responsive FAQ and SP FAQ have this. But there are other reasons, why Ultimate FAQ is more helpful for me!
Can you say, when do you will implement this?

as I wrote in my review, I also need a column for categories. Would be great, if you can implement this. Thanks!3) To manage larger FAQ’s it’s helpfull to add a column for Categories in the Backend. A lot of Plugins have this feature.
