Money? I have a job and I am good at it…There are spammers that take out social network pages and pose as beautiful women. They are not really beautiful women but spam companies that want to get into your computer to do their thing. So the picture is the bate.
There are vendors who claim to be giving away great prizes “If you just fill out this card with your email address” …there are no prizes…it is a scam to get your info to flood the internet with spam.
How do we know Word Press is not a front for spammers.
It is a valid question. Didn’t Facebook lose millions of pages recently after accusations that people’s information was being sold?
Gabe, I know it was over the top. For that I apologize. Word Press needs to explain to users that if your program is for commercial use – the users must make sure the company that they are selling be made aware the changes could be dramatic for uploading information – which is was for us.
To simply say as it sounds like so far … basically “It is not our problem” is not what I would expect to hear from an operation this size.

I asked you a question about how you make money and you have glazed over completely that question…How do you make money?

I am serious because my owner made the change without doing any research into what we were getting and with the individual who installed it.
I am very disappointed in Word Press and the person who installed it.

Correction: I meant to say … close down access to word press before you destroy every website in the world…it has ruined ours.

I am just a blogger for my company. I do not have the time or desire to find out what all the meanings are for all those boxes for the SEO are for. I have no idea.
What the hell is a “send trackback?” And who cares?
Loading pictures is an adventure…what happened to hitting brouse and going to a file – finding a picture and hitting “upload”? I can only use horizontal photos – that’s it. And even then it stretches them sideways – look like crap.
Links are worse. I have to re-size every logo picture in Corel then hope it can be used as a link logo- Now uploading logos for one link takes 15 minutes.
This is a free program? It is being used by individuals who are charging small companies to build websites – they get off without doing any work and then dump the whole thing on the people doing all the work to update the website.
It’s free? How do you make money? What is the purpose of word press? Are you spammers infesting computers when wordpress is used? Are you no more than infectious parasites sticking to the bowels of computers?
Our website had a very simple way to post articles and pictures and it looked nice.
Now it is all gone.
I guess all that crap looks impressive to an owner of the company when buyinng a new website, but when I asked the person who built the website about the boxes I mentioned earlier plus all the crap on the side, this person had not idea what most of it was for…
Close down access to word press before you destroy every computer in the world.
