UPDATE: We ended up abandoning the cas-authentication plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cas-authentication/) and using WP CAS (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpcas/). This worked right out of the box for us.
Also, when I CASify this app, the database connection seems broken too. It won’t accept my ID and password.
Please help!
