Yes, I’ve tried clearing the cache, both in the browser and within the hosting site (WPEngine). For the time being, I’ve disabled the native icons across most of the site, at least until I can figure out what is happening. It is still possible to see an example of what I’m speaking about on a post page:

In the bottom right corner of the page, you’ll notice curious ‘R’ , ‘g’ and ‘F’ symbols. These are what are being displayed in place of normal icons like rss and mail icons.
