OK I’ve found that the reason is because I forgot to set the “Use Bytes For All SEO options?” to YES in the SEO panel. The default is NO. Once I set it to YES, the meta keywords started showing up in the page source.

I have the same problem. The next day’s upcoming events become today’s events 4 hours too early. I thought it was because the plug-in was hard wired to GMT or something. This explains it.

Have you tried the Simple Image plug-in?
My bad. I see that this widget is only supported for WP version 2.9 and later and I am using 2.7.1.
