Tried switching themes to see if it was a theme problem and it did not fix itself after switching and resaving.For those using buddypress-default, if you switch activate another theme-you will loose the buddypress-default theme. Not permanently though thank heavens. You will need to add the following filter in your bp-custom file:
add_filter( 'bp_do_register_theme_directory', '__return_true' );and you will be able to reactivate the buddypress theme again.Tried deactivating all plug-ins as well and the problem still seemed to persist.

Does anyone have the 1.2.1 version available. I installed using the admin installer and then updated and I know the 1.2.1 worked fantastic.
Found it, went back until 1.2.1 and all is working great again.
