Hi coding4fun,
the new 2.5.6 release out today solves this issue.Hi kendawes,
what is it?Hi papaiatis,
you’re right, it’s a very strange behaviour from Facebook. Did you try to modify your permalink structure, e.g. removing the “.html” extension to your posts?Hi jzahlaway,
it’s weird. Are you using a cache plugin? In that case, try to empty the cache.Hi goldenimage,
the problem is still there?Hi macjp,
I actually see all the buttons on page 2. Did you change something?Hi papaiatis,
it seems that the problem is related to the url length … when you try with shorter urls it’s fine … we’ll investigate how to create a shorter url for the facebook button, hiding some parameters where there are default values. Watch out for the next plugin release!Hmm no … did you try on different posts and pages?
Hi straccia,
go to the edit page for the post/page where you want to exclude the buttons. You should see a box named “custom fields”, below the main content box. If you don’t see it, open the “screen settings tab on top-left and select “custom field” inside it: the “custom field” box should appear on bottom left of the page. Now, add a new custom field, setting “really_simple_share_disable” as name and “yes” and value, confirm and save. The buttons should disappear from the chosen post/page.
Hi straccia,
the issue you found shoud be fixed in the new 2.5.5 release of the plugin, out today. Please update it and tell us if something is still wrong. Thanks for your support!Yes, the div surrounding all buttons has the class “really_simple_share”; also every button has its own div class (e.g. “really_simple_share_twitter”) for easy customization inside the theme css files.
If you want to override default styling of the buttons, check the disable default styles option add your style rules inside your css theme file.
Hi, the new release out today fixes the Opera version recognition. In our test Firefox 13/14 is currently recognized. Which OS are you using? Can you post here the debug string you see after enabling the plugin debug mode?
