your issue should be solved by the new 2.9.7 plugin release, out today. Thanks for noticing it!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Really Simple Share] facebook counter still not workingHi rickard,
they do this from time to time. In general, you can test the Facebook button for your site here, to be sure that the occasional issue is due to the Facebook servers and not your website configuration.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Really Simple Share] Nofollow AttributeHi craigwp13,
which link in particular? Most of the links are internally managed by the social network buttons, so it’s not possible to change them; some other are editable, so we can add a plugin option to enable the nofollow attribute.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Really Simple Twitter Feed Widget] Thumbnails look horribleHi, thumbnails are intentionally left unstyled, because it’s difficult to have a standard good looking for every theme in the small widget column, so we provided some example rules to apply in the plugin FAQ. Anyway, for an easier approach to the widget, we’re probably adding a set of default styles on next update.

In reply to: [Really Simple Share] Not worth the slow loading timeHi, the plugin only use official code for every social network button, the plugin code overhead is minimal. The page loading time only depends on the number of active social network buttons and on their shared code loading time.

In reply to: [Really Simple Share] Replace Text "Share" (Old Facebook Share) with ButtonHi Franz,
you can add some CSS to have the Share div look like a button (border, border radius, background color, etc).Anyway, you can try to activate the Facebook Like button with the “html5 mode”, this way after the Like click a popup should appear to let people share your content on their wall with a comment.
@noflaye: Very good work!

In reply to: [Really Simple Share] Like Button does nothing?Hi Agentflit, that is the correct behaviour of the button. If you also want a “Share on Timeline” popup activated on click, you can enable the Facebook “html5″ mode in the plugin settings.

In reply to: [Really Simple Share] Show buttons in RSS feedHello romaric17,
unfortunately dynamic share buttons like the one we use can’t be easily added to the RSS feed, because they require javascript remote libraries to work.Hi WerroD,
as stated in the plugin FAQ, this is an automated Facebook behaviour: clicking Facebook Like the user can’t choose each time which image to share, the Facebook engine chooses it almost randomly.
For better results, you can set the right image inside the code using the Open Graph Tag og:image using an Open Graph plugin.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Really Simple Share] App ID on FacebookHi nasbp, the AppID parameter is optional, if you leave it blank the Like button should appear.

In reply to: [Really Simple Twitter Feed Widget] Where do the 4 keys go?Hi guttermonkey, you don’t need to modify the php files, you can manage the data right inside the WordPress backend manager. After creating the widget in the “Appearance->Widget” menu, enter the Keys inside the first four “Authentication” form fields.
