Hi Janet, thanks for the responses. Yes, I can confirm I’ve added the key and secret.
I can now see some data in the https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/site page and in the Wordfence>Settings>Login settings graph so it appears there was a delay of a few days between setting up the reCAPTCHA and data appearing on the Google website and in the Wordfence plugin page.
The Number of requests in the Google reCAPTCHA page doesn’t appear to match the login attempts listed in the Top 10 Failed Logins email so I will keep monitoring, but it looks promising.

I used your reply to check the source code and discovered the aiowps-captcha-equation that was being cached is from All In One WP Security & Firewall so changed the option in that plugin under Enable Captcha On Comment Forms to be unchecked. There is no captcha type equation to cache now. Best wishes!
