If they are showing correctly in your Browser then all is good. It will be 1-3 weeks before any SearchEngines index/update them.

Check your settings in Admin -> General: Reading & Permalinks – make sure they are correct to what you want.

Check the ‘wp-config.php’ file and verify the database information is correct.

When manually creating a database and, of course, a database user, it is not uncommon to forget to Add the database user to the database.

Considering 600 ms (0.6s) or less is what is desired, having 5.74s is way out of line. This is connection is at the server level and (usually) beyond your control. Surely Lighthouse flagged this as too long?

It would be more inline if you were in the US and the site you were trying to reach was in Australia.

How you want it to look requires each image and text to be in its own Block. Then put one Block on the left and one on the right.

Without you answering my questions about Domain name and URLs, there is nothing further I can add. Sorry.

If you are manually installing then you must manually create a database. That’s why I provided the link above as it explains how.

Before you go to the trouble of changing Hoster, why not just ask your Hoster if MySQL is running or you can check to see on your own.

If you are using cPanel then look on the first page, far right-hand side, for “Server Information”. Click on that and on the page shown look for “mysql” then look to the right-hand side. If you see green icon, MySQL is working and the problem is with your site. If you see a red icon then MySQL is not working and now you can prove it to your Hoster.

If a lot of the time you see the red icon when you check, then it might be worth the time & effort to move to another Hoster.

You need to be correct & accurate with your wording for a proper answer.

    1. Is the site being redesigned with a new theme and new software but the Domain name & URLs will remain the same?

    2. Something different than above?

    Also,

My understanding was if we use a SEO tool and make sure all current backlinks are pointing to the new website pages then there will be no issues.

New web pages are not the same as new URLs.

I am being very specific because SEO is an area that is not always correctly understood. If you have good SERP’s then you want to keep them. Backlinks can be redirected no matter what happens to your site without any loss of SEO.

SEO is built on Domain name and URLs. If they are going to stay the same then it doesn’t matter where or how they are hosted. Ask your SEO people to justify why they are against creating a new site even though the Domain name and URLs will stay the same–presuming that is the case.

If your Hosting account is using cPanel, there may be (at the bottom of cPanel page) a script called Softaculous. It can install WordPress for you and also create a database. I think that is your problem now, you didn’t create a database.

Due to the various problems that need attention and will take some time & testing to correct, I would suggest you contact a service company for outsourcing support. Do search on your own and here are some suggestions to get you started.

    acunett. com
    bobcares. com
    serversurgeon. com
    supportmonk. com

I have no experience or affiliation with them although I’ve read good feedback about each of them. Spending around $100 USD per month is not unreasonable and paying monthly would allow you to move on to another if you choose. And once your problems are sorted out, you can downgrade to less support at less cost.

You can check for indexes using: pcstudio . in/wp-content/uploads/

If you see anything other than a blank page, that’s bad.

Add this line at the top of your ‘public_html/.htaccess file:
    Options -Indexes

Then reload the same page which will now be blank. Note that this will create a line in your site Error log but you can add a Redirection later. Also make sure you installed those plugins I mentioned.

Speaking which, I misstated one. It should be: Blackhole for Bad Bots. You’ll need to make an edit to the ‘robots.txt’ file for it to work. All three are set n’ forget plugins so they are easy to use and very effective.

Not being able to see your site, I’m hesitant to suggest anything else as I won’t know what to suggest if it doesn’t work, other than remove it.

You could try these online tools to see if they help your situation:

Be it a feature or a bug, WordPress has a ‘wp_guess_url()’ function in the functions.php file.

    https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_guess_url/

If you do a search on “wordpress guesses url” you’ll get some interesting results.

Contact your Hoster as they are in the best position to help you with this problem.
