In reply to: [WordPress Auction Plugin] Documentation is crapNo, our free version is missing some very important, and highly used, features like Buy it Now, extra image uploads, remote debugging facility etc…which are available with the version on Codecanyon.
All features are clearly laid out on our description page here and on Codecanyon. We’re not hiding anything.
If you must know, most of the features on wordpress.org were added recently over this year (our download spikes and changelog show whenever we added new features) as part of our overall marketing strategy for a phased manner for the next iteration of our plugin.
I’m only posting this here so that other users don’t get taken in by your insinuating comment.

In reply to: [WordPress Auction Plugin] Documentation is crapSo you left a comment on Codecanyon around 5 hours ago (same time stamp as your ‘review’ above) – http://i.imgur.com/X04Qowf.jpg – and then decided the most mature way of handling this would be to leave a 1 star review for a plugin that is different from the one you bought?
If a WordPress.org admin sees this can you please have this review removed as it’s not directed to the plugin available here.
As for your support query on Codecanyon please go ahead and provide more information so that we can see why your setup is not allowing you to edit auctions. Do leave those support comments on Codecanyon and not here. Thank you.

In reply to: [WordPress Auction Plugin] Not WorkingIt’s supposed to insert the auction shortcode into your write area, like this for example: [wpauction id=”5″ /] where 5 would be the ID of the auction.

In reply to: [WordPress Auction Plugin] Not WorkingI see that you’re putting the <?php wp_auctions(1); ?> into your post. You don’t need to do that.
When you write your post you’ll see a panel called “Insert Auction”, use that to insert your auction. Let me know how it goes.

In reply to: [WordPress Auction Plugin] Not WorkingA blank page, or the code not showing, is usually a PHP error. From past experience I can say that this is due to a server side issue or a conflict with another plugin.
If I can ask you to somehow set up another test site with your current theme and just the WP Auctions plugin active to see if it works first like that. If it does, activate each plugin you use one by one to see where the error could be from. If you find that it’s not another plugin/theme issue then we can assume that it’s something deeper for which we need to log into your site/hosting panel and look through your error logs.
Since each and every WordPress install is different we can’t test across all possibilities so as of now the only solution I can provide is what I’ve stated above.
I can see if my developer can give you some input later on.

In reply to: [WordPress Auction Plugin] Not WorkingCan you post a link to your site with an active test auction, either embedded or with the WP Auctions sidebar widget in place.

In reply to: [WordPress Auction Plugin] Not WorkingNot sure what you mean by an empty page?
The plugin does not create a page, it simply embeds the created active auction into a post/page. Like this: http://demotest.wpauctions.com/auction-in-a-post/
This is a later version, but the auction in a post feature is fundamentally the same.
If you can be more clear about what’s not working I can help further.

In reply to: [WordPress Auction Plugin] Not Working@verbier you can embed an auction in your page, but you need to create it first.
Next you can create a post/page and look for the auction custom panel, it will somewhere below the write area. A dropdown will show you your options to insert an auction into your post/page, after you’ve inserted it you can edit the option to show the auction in a post. Enter the post/page URL there and you’re good to go.
The above step is necessary to form a relation with the post/page and the auction.
In the Pro version this step is easier as the relation is set via a single button click.
