It’s WordPress update scenario, WordPress removes previous plugin completely and then install new plugin. It’s why your custom layout removed.
I suggest you to override one of default layouts in your theme if you don’t want to upload your custom layout again after each update.
For overriding a layout in your theme, upload the layout file in /path/to/theme/webilia/magic-post-listing/app/widgets/MPL/tmpl/default.php
Same for assets or forms directory.Regards,

For now the only way is modifying /path/to/plugin/app/libraries/posts.php file and change render_title function included in WBMPL_posts class.But after releasing next update you can override posts.php file into your theme without modifying core posts.php file.

It seems “php-mbstring” extension is not installed on your server. Please ask your host provider to install this extension on your server.
Generally web servers installed this extension by default but we will release a fix for this issue on next update. Thanks for your report.Regards,

We checked this feature right now and it seems it works fine. Let us explain this feature by en example.
Lets say you have a post/page with this title: “blah blah blah foo bar” if you set the widget to cut title after 4 words, it will show “blah blah blah foo …” in the frontend.

Thanks for using MPL, We will release MPL PRO in close future, Using this version, You will be able to place MPL shortcode into the pages.
The problem that you said is not MPL issue, Some MPL options load by AJAX (Such as Layout options) and page builder plugins cannot load these options. It’s why we planned to develop MPL PRO. Thanks for your patience.

We checked your website and it seems second widget works fine on Firefox. but it has the issue that you mentioned in Google Chrome. Unfortunately we couldn’t fine anything related to MPL plugin. it is working fine on our debug machine in Google Chrome and Firefox.
Your website has some javascript issue and maybe these errors created these issues. Please fine them below:
Uncaught ReferenceError: st_go is not defined 400 Bad Request - http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=noneMaybe the issue is related to a conflict which is created by your theme.
Please try to create another slider and see what happens for third widget. Also if you like you can use default layout for second widget.
