In reply to: [Log Emails] Email log not being purgedG’day antipole,
Are you getting the regular WordPress and plugin update notifications? I ask that because it indicates whether scheduled tasks are running.
If you are, then I have a problem to track down…

In reply to: [Gravity Forms Eway] Multiple credit card surchargesG’day vinsanity777,
The simplest and surest way to apply surcharges is to let eWAY apply them in the Responsive Shared Page. This is available with Gravity Forms eWAY Pro:
https://gfeway.webaware.net.au/
Here’s a basic description of the process for adding surcharges:
https://gfeway.webaware.net.au/faq/credit-card-surcharge/
I recommend that you also mention the surcharges somewhere in the form so that your customers are expecting it when they get to eWAY to fill in their card details.

In reply to: Repeating “502 Bad Gateway” after executing simple actions@ingovogelmann W3TC usually changes the site’s .htaccess file. I recommend that you:
* download a copy of this file
* rename the file to something — .htaccess-w3tc for example
* save permalinks again from the admin: Settings > PermalinksThe last step should recreate the file afresh without any W3TC junk in it.
If that makes things worse, delete the new .htaccess file and rename the old one back to .htaccess

In reply to: [SSL Insecure Content Fixer] It doesnt fix css or jsWhen I checked, it’s loading all JS and CSS in the head and foot with https. There is a bunch of stuff in the content area that is loading with http, so Content setting should be working. If Capture setting isn’t working, then something else is interfering. Have you cleared any caches e.g. WP Super Case, W3 Total Cache, Varnish?

RossG’day @clairdma,
Please try this pre-release version of v2.2.3, which has a work-around for the conflict between CSE and File Upload fields.

RossActually, there might be a work-around; investigating now…
G’day Clair,
I’ve confirmed this — it’s worse than that, actually; file uploads do not work with this add-on when you have Client Side Encryption. Unless your website is fully PCI compliant and your eWAY account is marked as not requiring Client Side Encryption, you cannot use this add-on with forms that have file uploads.
I’ll be talking to eWAY about what their script is doing, and discussing ways to work around the problem. I can’t see them resolving it very quickly, however, as changing what they’re doing would have other consequences that would need extensive testing and security analysis.
My Pro add-on does support file uploads and eWAY payments, however, if you use the Responsive Shared Page to accept payments. Instead of having a Credit Card field on your form, the website sends your customer to the eWAY website to enter their card details securely. eWAY’s Client Side Encryption script is not loaded, so file uploads work OK.

Thanks for bringing this problem to my attention, and sorry that I can’t offer you a fix in my Free add-on for now. If eWAY can change their script to support file attachments, I’ll retest the Free add-on and update this topic.

In reply to: [Easy Digital Downloads Free Link] How do I get this to work?No worries!
@clairdma I’m looking at the problem this afternoon. It’s probably something affected by the validation sequence. Will get back to you today.

In reply to: [SSL Insecure Content Fixer] the plugin effect my others .I’m actually flat out at the moment, so best if you can get your developer to look at it for you.
If you need additional help, perhaps you can find it here:

In reply to: [SSL Insecure Content Fixer] the plugin effect my others .Close your browser, and try again. It could be browser caching. I can load the login page of your site over http.

In reply to: [SSL Insecure Content Fixer] the plugin effect my others .It’s probably that you edited your website settings (Settings > General) and changed one or both of the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL). If you can, edit them and set them both back to using http not https.
You can then get your insecure content problems sorted out, and change those settings back afterwards when everything is working OK.

In reply to: [SSL Insecure Content Fixer] the plugin effect my others .If you’ve deactivated this plugin, then it is not affecting anything any more. Your problems sound like you’re still loading the admin on https instead of http and getting errors because something isn’t loading correctly. In fact, I can see that your website is still being forced to https.
You need to stop forcing the website to https first so that you can get the admin working correctly. Then you can activate this plugin again and get its settings right. Once you’ve done that, and everything is working OK on https with no warnings, only then should you set your website to only load on https.
cheers,
RossIf so, it has nothing to do with this plugin. This plugin makes changes to the output of WordPress on-the-fly, and only when you load a page via https. Its sole purpose is to clean up problems with assets (images, scripts, css) loading on http when a page is loaded on https.
It sounds like you need to do a lot more talking with your host, or hire a WordPress specialist to help you clean up whatever they’ve done when they moved you across.
cheers,
Ross
