In reply to: [Sliding Door] Very Difficult to Use. No Updated Support.Sunny, I am sorry you are unhappy. The team has been upgraded to make it easier to use. You do not need to edit any CSS to use the theme in its basic form. Everything can be done from the WordPress menus themselves, including the “use as featured image” which is still available on the posts. I’m not sure why you couldn’t find it.
It is true that the support site has a lot of talk about CSS. This is beyond the scope of the normal WordPress user I agree, but there are people out there who like to discuss this kind of thing. The support site is for those people who want to delve into a little bit of CSS and so on, but you do not need to go anywhere near that to use the theme.
This is the case with all WordPress themes. You can use them “as is” or you can get “under the hood” and do some mods.
On the support site there is an FAQ which is up-to-date.
I am sorry that I did not reply to this earlier, I only check this forum every two or three months.

In reply to: [Sliding Door] Menu bar just for subpagesThat is a great idea.
I don’t think that can be implemented from within the theme, but you should be able to find a plug-in to do that.
You would need to set up a different menu for each of the seven pages.
Then select each menu to be used for each page.
I just did a search and a plug-in like this might work:

In reply to: [Sliding Door] Very Difficult to Use. No Updated Support.Sunny,
Nothing has changed since 2012, you still update the images by setting the featured image of the page.
The FAQ is up-to-date and the first three questions tell you how to up date the sliding images.also, if you go to the theme pay at wordpress.org and have a look at the messages in the sliders, the instructions are they on how to get the theme working.
I must admit is a bit tricky to set up compared to a normal WordPress theme because WordPress is not designed to have sliding pictures in the header!!!
In summary:
Each of the sliders represents a page on your site.
The actual pictures that are in the sliding menus need to be uploaded using the ‘featured image’ for each page.
You need to create a menu with those seven pages and choose the ” sliding navigation” so that WordPress knows to use these seven pages for your sliding doors. If you get stuck look here, this FAQ is still up-to-date with the latest version of the theme:

In reply to: [Sliding Door] Move Primary navigation bar down a bitYou need to edit the style.CSS and there is information on how to do this at the support forum:
Note that this is outside the normal support of a theme and once you go editing CSS files it is easy to break things!!!

In reply to: [Sliding Door] BLOG link in header menuBasically the theme is set up to only have pages in the seven top sliders.
But you can still add other items like blog and homepage by setting up a ‘dummy’ page and then using the page-links-to plug-in to point that dummy page to any URL.

In reply to: [Sliding Door] Changing the number of images in sliderIt’s very complicated to change this theme to have made images.
There is a lot of trial and error in getting the sliding Windows operating smoothly.I can only suggest that you read the form as there is a discussion from people who have tried this here:

Each of the sliders represents a page on your site.
The actual pictures that are in the sliding menus need to be uploaded using the ‘ featured image’ for each page.
Then you need to create a menu with those seven pages and choose the ” sliding navigation” so that WordPress knows to use these seven pages for your sliding doors.so you need to begin by making seven pages.
Then you need to upload a ‘featured image’ for each page.
Then you need to set up the menus by going to appearance – Menus
Create a New menu and add 7 Pages to it.
A new dropdown will appear on the left called ‘Sliding Navigation’
Select your new menu.if you get stuck look here:
