In reply to: Filters vs Actions -from a newbemfields, thank you for this explanation. betsyv, thank you for asking!
Checking my understanding with this…
If I seereturn apply_filters( , ,)in a function, this is a hook indicating I can change what that function does. Essentially it’s an indicator of “filterability,” yes?Forum: Plugins

In reply to: Theme Suggestions, and Opinions?Gabe,
I’m sorry I took so long to respond to this post!
After commenting on your blog (about one of your posts) I left this window open in my browser intending to come back to respond to *this* post! Three days later, here I am.
About the theme…
I really like how each post is visually set apart and separated by more than just a title. The color separation goes a long way to an organized, visually pleasing site. The line-height is perfect (for me) so reading is a pleasure.
The only problem I see, and this is a problem across many themes, is that the tags spill over their pseudo-frame. I wish this didn’t happen! Take comfort in that you are not alone. I haven’t constrained my tags either (bad tags!).
Oh – I love the reflection you’ve given your blog title. A little depth perception and the suggestion of movement is eye-catching. Very nice!
All the best,

In reply to: Update [adsense-manager plugin]Martin,
I’ve queried Google about this.
It’s important to know the reason “why” you’ve been shutdown as, after reading the TOS, it is not obvious to me either.
I’ll keep you posted.
All the best,
Val
