The weak point is that if they leave the ‘other amount’ field blank, they’ll start a 0.01 payment, which shouldn’t be possible. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to make the ‘other amount’ field mandatory.

I temporarily solved it creating a ‘fake’ payment option with a 0.01 amount and the ‘other amount’ field where the client types the real amount.Forum: Plugins

If I use the payment options with fixed price it works, but I only want the ‘other amount’ option.
