In reply to: [qTranslate X] No way to switch languageFor me the problem si solved, thanks a lot to the plugin’s developpers. Very reactiv and helpfull.
We didn’t realy discovered what was wrong, but updating to an alpha 3.2.8 qtranslateX solved the problem. Now that the 3.2.9 is out, I updated to the regular 3.2.9 version and everything is still fine.
Thanks againForum: Plugins
In reply to: [qTranslate X] No way to switch languageIt’s not only the widget: If I go to one page available only in french, the link supposed to get me back to the french versions doesn’t work either:

In reply to: [qTranslate X] No way to switch languageI read it, but too late…
What I don’t understand is that with my old and dirty database you get a working widget. I cleaned my database of all the garbage.
I still have an error with garbage collector scan.
I would like if possible to keep all my posts and pages, before making a new database.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [qTranslate X] No way to switch languageI erased everything on my server and put back all the files to be sure nothing old and messy staies around. No change at all….

In reply to: [qTranslate X] No way to switch languageTell me if I’m wrong but if I just erase with filezilla all my files except the WP-content and wp-config.php, upload a new fresh WP, install my plugins (not so many), I should have a clean fresh install.
Of course, I will backup everything first.
It won’t tell us what was wrong if it works, but maybe it’s not the most important point.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [qTranslate X] No way to switch languageI removed all the old unused databases with phpmyadmin, I checked if everything was ok and phpmyadmin says the database is correct.
So I don’t understand why the test copy of my site works while the original site don’t. The only difference between both of them is where it is hosted and the mediafiles.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [qTranslate X] No way to switch languageI just send a mail with a link to the files on my owncloud
I removed all the galleries and content to make it lighter.
Hope you can find how to fix it.
Thanks againForum: Plugins

In reply to: [qTranslate X] No way to switch languageThanks for the help (it’s so good to have responsive support, waited for monthes for answers with Qtranslate original).
I still used the permalinks with postname, putted the menu on the left with the switcher in it. Still no way to change language. And what is interesting is that the top menu is in french, the content in g=french but the left menu in english…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [qTranslate X] No way to switch languageThanks for the answer, but I tried it already, no change.
I tried to deactivate all the plugins too.
And I even tried the plugin “Migration helper” as I’m not sur I didn’t install long time ago qtranslate-slug (but it’s not installed anymore).
