I upgraded yesterday to Version 2.7 for the free Visual Form Builder and the links seem to be working now.
Try upgrading yours also it might fix the issue
I’m having the same problem as well. I created a Checkbox field and in the description which handles HTML I put a link.

On the form page (www.venuespot.ca/list) when I click the checkbox field’s link I am directed to:
http://www.venuespot.ca/list/”http:/www.venuespot.ca/terms/”
I’ve already updated to the latest version on Feb 8, 2013. Any way to fix this? I’ve included the full http:// link and other links on my site work fine.
