It was changed on-the-fly when I uploaded it by my FTP. It extracted with the correct extension but was wrong on the server. Some setting I have never played with. Yay me!

I did not have this problem until I updated to WP2.3.1. AFter that, I started getting the same error. I get the error with both Beta version and WLW Ver 2008.
I found this workaround that refers to this same error. But it does not work for me. I have a different version of PHP (4.3.11) through my hosting company. The statement that is supposed to be added to the xmlrpc.php as a workaround was already present in the file, so I tried REMing it out, and that did not work. I can still post, just not through WLW.
ANyone else have this problem and make it work?
