In reply to: [jQuery Vertical Scroller] Show post date?Hi Shawn –
when we initially implemented it, we had used pixels. It didn’t work well with a lot of themes because different developers gave different widths for sidebars. This looked odd and we finally decided to go with percentage. So even if theme developer changed the width on the sidebar, the scroller will not look odd.Hope you find the CSS easy to modify.
Thanks

In reply to: [jQuery Vertical Scroller] no gap!Hi Chrispink
I finally got sometime to work on this. I updated the plugin to add excerpt in the shortcode.
As for the second request. I am stumped. Any suggestions? The only real solution I can think of is to replicate the li list 10 or more times to it just keeps going for a while but that is not truly a solution. It is a workaround.
Thanks

Did you try increasing the speed of the slider. Seems like it is going too slow.
Thanks

Sorry for the delay. I haven’t been keeping up with this in a while. I will let you know the solution in a day or two. Need to look at this code. Haven’t looked at this since Jan.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [jQuery Vertical Scroller] no gap!Thank you for your feedback chrispink. I am happy to see that I am not the only one who thinks this plugin is easy to use.
Can’t give all functionality in one version right? Otherwise I wouldn’t have anything to update. π
As for your first comment, I did plan to add that in my next version but I got busy with a new plugin I was writing and kept this aside for now. I will try to add that soon.
As for your second one, I would have to think about it. Not sure how… yet!
Will definitely try to add it soon. Anything else you think of, let me know

The plugin currently does not support this functionality. We can try and add that function to the next version but it may take a while.

In reply to: [jQuery Vertical Scroller] Scrolling not worrkingHi
You seem to have changed to a different plugin. I can try and help you if you reinstall the plugin and add it into the widget section of the page. The issue may be caused by a conflicting plugin or a bug in the theme, as we discovered in the previous support topic.
It would help if you could create a test admin Id and email it to me so I can see what’s causing the problem. If you would like to email me, my email address is vamsi [at] sirisgraphics [dot] com.
If you are happy with the new plugin you are using, please close this support request.
Happy blogging !!!
Thanks

In reply to: [jQuery Vertical Scroller] Posts display on Static PagesHi
Thank your for giving access to your site and letting me take a look at it.As I mentioned in my email, the issue is being caused due to the way the theme developer implemented the left sidebar. There is a delay between the time the page content is grabbed by the code and it is rendered to the page. In the meantime, since my plugin is pulling new post content, the original post(page) content in memory is getting over-written.
I have emailed you the updated theme file so you can by pass the problem but you will have to fix the css for the new layout yourself. Also, please be careful when changing the code. It may cause unforeseen results.
I would also suggest you contact the theme developer. They may be able to change the layout of the code in a way that the defect goes away.
Hope I was able to help!!!

I looked at the site again and am not sure what the problem is? Can I get access to the site so I can see the code and layout? If that is OK, please email me at vamsi [at] sirisgraphics [dot] com and I will take a look at it. Not sure where the information is coming from. Also none of the other links on the site are working.

For your second instance, did you use itin a page or a widget area? If you are trying to use it on a page, version 1.4 will start allowing you to do that. We are currently testing it. Should be out in a couple of days.Let me test it with your themeand see what the problem is.
Hi Mukund –
We think we are almost ready with your request. We are currently testing it. Hold on for a few more days and you should get the update you asked for. Thanks
