Hello Steve,
I recently subscribed to a web developer to update my plugins and themes on a monthly bases. He installed a plugin called Wordfence as a tool to use for the updating, I’m sure. No one from WooCommerce or WordPress ever looked into the issue for me. However, my Theme Builder (Divi – By Elegant Themes) said there looked to be an issue with compatibility and they took care of this issue with CSS Coding.
