    Hello petstaf.

ctype_digit is a standard php function. Nothing to do with the plugin. It seems that ctype-digit is not available for php. Please check that php is configured to allow ctype and/or compiled with ctype support.

    Regards.

I’ve seen that you’re investigating this more exhaustively, asking for vendor gateway integration as well… Seems that you’re looking for side-by-side shops based on WooCommerce or other E-Commerce platforms.

What do you want to achieve? That a customer can only hold products for one vendor in his cart and that the site (store owner) does not interfere in the transaction? Could a customer buy products from different vendors using separated carts for each vendor according to your store logic?

    Hello torlwid.

The Swiss Knifes do not use any specialized storage. Order data is stored together with the default data in the very same way WooCommerce already does. The same goes for the customer item data which is stored inside the order item meta data. Nearly all plugins out there that allow for personalization or that add extra information to the order or the order items assure that you can see the data but not necessarily provide export functionality.

Nearly all import/export plugins available for WooCommerce should do a fine job and allow you to reuse your data including the one captured with the Swiss Knifes. Probably I will provide some basic export functionality this year for the Rich Guys Swiss Knife but that this functionality is not available now, shouldn’t be a show-stopper. Dedicated export solutions are available and working. The Swiss Knifes never promised to do it all, they promise to do a lot. 🙂

    Hello gronix.

Sorry, neither the poor nor the rich guy of the swiss knifes includes functionality to achieve this. Seems very special to me, not something many WooCommerce shop will need. You would need to modify the customer object / concept inside WooCommerce, but that’s not all, you need a completely new concept/object, the vendor object. Is it possible to do this? For sure. Will this be part of this plugin in the near future? No and probably never.

    Regards and good luck.

    Hello jsml.

Good news is: plugin updated. Bad news. Styling of emails is a difficult task to achieve on backstage. You will need to work out templating with WooCommerce to obtain the results you desire. To work with your own WooCommerce templates you will have to create a folder called woocommerce inside your template folder and copy the email folder of the woocommerce template folder into it. Afterwards you can change the files.

Working with css files is not available with emails as many email service providers like google’s gmail suppress inline css as well as css loaded in the header. You will have to hardcode the styles using the style attribute on each and every tag in the html parts of the corresponding template.

There are a lot of paid plugins out there that allow you to establish promotional rules. What does r.initial mean? First time returning formerly known new customer? 🙂

Does this mean that the shipping for the second transaction should be free or all shipping costs for all orders after the first customer order?

You should be fine with one of the paid plugins… Pricing Deals, etc. It’s best to ask in the support forum of these plugins.

WooCommerce Poor Guys Swiss Knife does not include functionality to establish promotional rules and probably never will.

I will leave this open for another three or four days…

    Thanks and good luck.

    Hello 34503895.

I deduce that the plugin works correctly if you activate one of the recent built-in WordPress themes. Is this correct? If you haven’t tested this, could you please test with Twenty Thirteen or Twenty Fourteen?

    Thanks.

    Hello Madera.

I’ve published an update of the WooCommerce Rich Guys Swiss Knife that includes a complete revision of the quantity handling taking into account customer feedback. Some of the enhancements made into the Poor Guy as well.

The next major upgrade will include a complete rewrite to allow for even more flexibility. Nevertheless, if you still need flexible quantity handling that takes into account stock, out of stock, etc. for variations you may try the “Rich Guy”.

    Regards.

    Hello joao…

No. I’m new to WP and WooCommerce… in fact my first contact with both happened a year ago… I’m maybe not the best indicator to guide people… WooCommerce Poor Guys Swiss Knife and the big brother, the rich guy, offer a lot of things, to implement highly specialized features that you need is not in the scope of my plans. Sometimes, most times you will need to contract a craftsman, a programmer, somebody able to implement features that make a lot of sense in dedicated use cases but that won’t make it into the wild…

Thanks for contacting and good luck.
