Thanks for the answers folks, I can mark this thread as closed.

The single (but I don’t think negligible) suggestion is to have all the options visible on the “Edit page” (and post, I guess) part at installation.
This would save (in turn, a lot of) frustration for beginners. Having all the options there for a beginner shows all that can be done with a page/post and with (little) experience he/she can learn to hide options not used, while NOT having all the options there initially easily leads to (a lot of) frustration. Vastly different user experience.

    It’s that simple.

    Cheers:

    UB.

    Hello folks,

    Thanks for the replies….
Kevin is right: the “Screen options” does give you all the options, making the Quick Edit a subset.
I stand corrected — however, it might be a good idea to have those options on by default when the thing is installed.
I did look at the other WordPress themes but this came up to be the most convenient initially. I can look harder. Thanks for the suggestion.

Little bit off-topic: I saw a twenty-thirteen theme being developed, but it is not downloadable — what’s up with it?

    Thanks:

This post is marked as resolved — why?

Folks, the option to completely delete an account is kind of elementary, don’t you think?
