In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Hotlinking Protection Rules Not WorkingI have the same issue. My MaxCDN “whitelist” is working as the pullzone URL is protected. But images can be hotlinked using the URL from the WP site with the original permalink.
I see there have been no replies to your post. Have you found a workaround or solution for this issue? Let me know either way.
I have submitted this issue to W3TC as a new feature in upcoming releases. Hopefully, I will hear something back.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Image Hotlinking Protection QuestionI have some another questions….
1. If I have W3 TC and Max CDN set up properly, what are the URL’s supposed to be on an image sitemap?
2. Should the URL include the pullzone URL or the website domain name?
3. Should “Add canonical header” be checked?
4. What does the “Rejected user agents” field do?
Thanks in advance for all your help

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Fatal error on import after updating to v 2.1.1this is what is at line 139
function ewwwio_memory( $function ) {
if ( WP_DEBUG ) {
global $ewww_memory;
$ewww_memory .= $function . ‘: ‘ . memory_get_usage(true) . “\n”;
}would you like me to copy and paste the whole content of the common.php file?

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Fatal error on import after updating to v 2.1.1I opened the common.php file and here is what it has near the top:
define(‘EWWW_IMAGE_OPTIMIZER_VERSION’, ‘211’);
all I did was update via the wordpress auto update.
Please let me know what you think
(great plugin, btw. thanks for all of your hard work with it.)

In reply to: Excerpts in Catagory / Archives in Twenty FourteenI figured it out
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Fatal error on import after updating to v 2.1.1also, my bulk optimize feature is not working. I select my images in the media library, go to bulk optimize and nothing happens. Its the same result if I try to force optimize or not.
so the only way I can get the plugin to optimize my images is to disable the plugin, import the images, activate the plugin and then manually optimize each image by clicking “optimize now!”
(and I have tried disabling all other plugins, clearing my cache, clearing my CDN, and uninstalling and re-installing EWWW)
Thoughts?

In reply to: [Twenty Fourteen] Twenty Fourteen and Google Mobile FriendlyI think I answered my own question — my site is Google Mobile Friendly, and it was something in my robots.txt file that was messing it up.

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] 150 x 150 jpegs do not seem to be reducing all the wayYes, that’s what I figured, and it worked like a charm. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Great plugin, btw.

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] 150 x 150 jpegs do not seem to be reducing all the wayooops! I didn’t have ‘remove metadata’ turned on…
New what do I have to do? Do I have to go back and re-optimize everything?
How do I do that efficiently?
I used “The Force” and I think I have it all sorted out now. Things seems to be working properly.
I disabled all options in W3TC except minify and I purged the cache and I also purged everything on MaxCDN. I went in through FTP and found the W3TC manually cleared some old files.
Then when I went to log back into WP it prompted me to update the database which I did, then my dashboard was WP 4.0 and all the errors are gone.
Anyway, thanks for your help. I just wanted to round out the topic in case anyone else happens upon these same errors.
Hey Mac, I tried the manual upgrade. It wasn’t hard at all.
I followed all the steps and it looked like it worked. But afterwards, I am still getting the same errors:
— “Welcome to WordPress 3.9.2” page (no idea why this is happening)
— Fatal error: Access level to WP_Plugins_List_Table::get_views() must be public (as in class WP_List_Table) in XXXXXX/aquariumcarebasics.com/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-plugins-list-table.php on line 605
— Fatal error: Access level to WP_Users_List_Table::get_views() must be public (as in class WP_List_Table) in XXXXXX/aquariumcarebasics.com/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-users-list-table.php on line 459
I checked, and both of those files are present. The permissions are set for 644.
So I am back to square one. Any other ideas?
Thanks for the link Mac. I had a look at the steps and a manual upgrade looks a bit to complicated. Is there any other suggestion you can make?
Let me know, thanks!
