Hi geraldvahe,
FormBuilder actually just uses the built-in PHP email sending controls the same as WordPress does. If you’re setting up a local MAMP server you’ll need to make sure PHP is configured to send mail correctly with the proper mail related settings.

In reply to: [FormBuilder] [Plugin: FormBuilder] Error in ChromeHi Keress,
That’s actually a new feature of the latest FormBuilder. If you have a field called “Name” or “Email” and the visitor is logged in as a member on the site, the system will prefill the fields with their wordpress login information.

In reply to: [FormBuilder] Feature Request?Hi sbeck,
You can easily achieve multiple choice questions simply using multiple checkboxes. Use a “comments” field for the actual question text and then put in multiple checkboxes below it.

In reply to: [FormBuilder] FormBuilder and Thesis themHello. If you’re seeing that message, then you must be using the Thesis theme. We have discovered compatibility problems between Thesis and FormBuilder and have to recommend that people don’t use them together. When forms are filled out, they will send in the submitted content, but will also display a “You already filled this out” message to the visitor. At the moment, we don’t have a good solution for this, hence the warning message.
We’ve verified the bug… now we’re working on trying to fix it. Just wondering if anyone was using a known theme. Custom themes seem to work but Thesis is having issues but only with certain server configurations.

In reply to: [Plugin: Formbuilder] can’t create new formHey brylie,
Looks like you found the problem. I guess some WordPress installs don’t include the predefined DB_CHARSET and COLLATE constants. Strange… Anyway, I’ll update the FB code to check for those in the next version. thanks for helping us figure this out.

Is everyone who has this problem running on Godaddy?

In reply to: FormBuilder Value issueHi overhaulmedia and mikemcd22,
At this point, FormBuilder doesn’t support removing default values on click. When HTML5 becomes more standardized it should support fields for preview text and we hope to incorporate that there.
As for unselected dropdown boxes, simply leave a blank line as the first option in your range of options when creating the form.

In reply to: [Plugin: FormBuilder] Translations don’t work in the new versionSorry, that was my fault. The latest version should work again with the translations. There are a few more text strings though. I’ve provided an updated POT file.
Hey Mikeys27,
We’ve been considering how to accomplish this, however it could be dangerous when combined with various site caching plugins.
We’re still trying to figure out how this could be done safely.

In reply to: Problems with formbuilder and qTranslateHey, that’s a good suggestion. I’ll see if I can get that incorporated into future versions.
