In reply to: Digg.comSo anyone know why I keep getting this error? Anyone see the same thing? It’s getting to be really frustrating.

In reply to: Digg.comThat’s very interesting. I submit “report a bug” to digg.com but that doesn’t seem to do anything nor do I get any reply back.
All it means is my blog doesn’t show up listed when you look at “Who’s blogged this…” section. I like to think some people my check out my blog if it did show up.

In reply to: WordPress 1.5.1.3, Ecto 2.3.7 and Lunarpages problem with xmlrpc.phpNo, I used the fantistico script install (within c-panel).
Good luck, hope you get it resolved! It looks like a neat application.
Now, if I can only get my digg.com issue worked out. 🙁 Most annoying.

In reply to: WordPress 1.5.1.3, Ecto 2.3.7 and Lunarpages problem with xmlrpc.phpOk, I got to it much quicker then I thought.
I was able to connect fine and pull down all my pages. I used only my wordpress login, for all usernames/passwords. I also used a link like this
http://www.mydomain.com/path/xmlrpc.php as my wordpress is installed into a folder.
Anyway, using lunarpages, I was able to get it to work. However, they have many servers and we are most likely using a different server.

In reply to: WordPress 1.5.1.3, Ecto 2.3.7 and Lunarpages problem with xmlrpc.phpThat’s most interesting. I use lunarpages as well, and recently installed WordPress. My issue isn’t with that….I am getting error messages when trying to “blog this” through digg.com. The thing is it worked 2 months ago, but now a new default installation and it only works halfway.
As soon as I get a chance, I will install Ecto and see if I have the same issues as you are getting. 🙂

In reply to: Digg.comYes, I do. It won’t actually let you put in a fake address in there, so the address must point to the blog.

In reply to: Digg.comAnyone on this? I have no realized that it probably is a digg.com problem. I installed a test wordpress installation and Digg won’t post to that either. It used to work a month ago.
Does anyone have any ideas what “parse error.not well formed” means?

In reply to: Connecting WordPress to SMF user tablesI agree, Slavick, that we can’t be in a minority with SMF. I just started using it 2 months ago and it’s awesome, and my users have actually began posting more and more. Wish I had switched a LONG time ago.

In reply to: Connecting WordPress to SMF user tablesThanks Ciinien, it’s just I’m so not good with programming. I was really hoping someone had developed a true bridge or plugin with WordPress/SMF.

In reply to: Connecting WordPress to SMF user tablesI assume then you already didnt have users already setup in SMF when you created WP. I wouldn’t mind this solution if I could import users already setup in SMF.
