I have the exact same problem. Maybe we should ask SNAP to include support for YAPB through a configurable option in their code or something like that as opposite to directly hacking into the code.
The same here, even with a fresh install. I have used YAPB in past and have recently decided to start a new photoblog. Installed latest wordpress (3.2.1) together with YAPB 1.9.29.
I was unpleasantly surprised to see that even uploading a image doesn’t work.
I hope there will be a solution to this problem soon.
