and it appeared!
BUT— It forced the sidebar down to the bottom of the page and I can’t see any sidebar css in this guy’s theme.
(its called blue horizon, i just grabbed it off the WP site)

In reply to: still cant work out how to insert an imageone thought – i try to upload a html page to the root directory and when i try to view this page in a browser, it comes up with the wordpress site and an eroor 404 page.
So, does this mean I need to install wordpress in a sub directory – in order to view non-wordpress files?
In other words, could this be part of the problem?
