But it didn’t work, the slideshow is still on the left. Any other ideas?
Actually, I just figured this out. On the widget there are 4 tabs: General, Front Side, Back side, Style. Go to the Style tab and you’ll see box labelled “Height”. You can set the height to anything you want: Eg, 300px, 50%, etc.
