I’d really love it if there was a way to salvage my site, as it’d save me several days of work re-doing everything.

I clicked that link from another forum post about moving wordpress to a different directory, so I only read the part that the link takes you directly to. I wish the page would’ve been deleted before it f*cked my site up..
I still need help getting access to my site again, as it is now I can’t access anything and the site is effectively dead. How do I fix the f-up?
And, I can’t see which of those steps helps me move my entire install (root, all folders, and everything) to a new subfolder? I’m trying to move it from /successfulnessacademy to /successfulnessinstitute.

It is really getting in the way of work, as I tend to have to deal with this half the time I click anything – which is making things take a lot longer than it should.

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Did new update eliminate html possibilities?Yeah, that seemed to do the trick. Now if I can only get some confidence on this issue, Zerif might yet again be the theme for me.
Because I love the layout and functions, but with these two critical issues appearing within a month of me installing it, I don’t feel too confident about future updates or tinkering with my site..
I uploaded an old version of the Zerif Lite theme (after re-naming it so I didn’t have to delete the one I had) in the hopes of getting the HTML codes to work after the last update. Switching to that made all my content dissappear, and when I switched back, the sections mentioned above were set back to the standard text that comes with the theme, and all the custom text I had written was gone.
So.. no answer to this?

@etorres I’m glad they’re aware of it, but I kinda need a fix right now or I’ll have to abandon the theme as I’m losing money every day I wait for it to work properly. And considering that they a couple of days ago said they’d “hopefully” have it live in a couple of days I don’t feel to confident about the wait-and-see approach on this one just yet 😉

I now have the last JS code, set to apply using wp_head (and I removed the previous code you gave me), but html is still not working in the affected sections.

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Did new update eliminate html possibilities?I didn’t want to take my site out of maintenence mode, as I will now be getting traffic to a broken site – which is worse than getting traffic to one that says “we’ll be right back”, so please let me know once you’ve looked at it so I can close it again.
The site is at http://www.torkelguttormsen.com already in the title you can see what I mean when I say I can no longer use HTML codes. The codes you see have not been changed after the update, and worked perfectly before. Another example can be found if you click the “Hvem?” link.

In reply to: [Zerif Lite] Did new update eliminate html possibilities?Alright, so that seemed to fix the size of the parallax, thanks for that. But this is not the most pressing problem. The biggest problem is not being able to use HTML in the different titles anymore, do you have a fix for that?
This messes up both layout and content on my site, and I’ve had to set it in maintenance mode until I have it sorted out.
This, combined with the even more frustrating problem here (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/sections-dissappearing-after-switching-themes-for-a-moment) is really killing my traffic right now, which is a problem since my traffic is how I make my living..
