Duh! Never mind. I found it… /me slaps forehead
We are also on *nix/Apache.
I confess, I didn’t look all that closely before rolling back, so this is maybe a dumb question, but how would I go about disabling traffic inspection?
We have been seeing the same issue. Customers were not able to access a number of pages on our site, and it appeared the traffic inspector was blocking them. I have temporarily rolled back to v 5.9 to see if that will fix the issue.
Cool, thanks! Love the plugin overall. And in the meantime, the cookie-based brute force option doesn’t seem to have the same effect on the login screen, so there is a workaround.

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] Login page crashesSimilar situation here. Just updated to 3.9, and now when I use the feature under “Brute Force” to rename the login page, it totally messes up the display of the login page. Fortunately, at least I can still log in, but it looks pretty terrible.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Don’t want Posts on the HomepageI have the same question. I was using Static Front Page prior to upgrading to WP2.1. One of the reasons I upgraded was that the feature list said “You can set any “page” to be the front page of your site, and put the latest posts somewhere else, making it much easier to use WordPress as a content management system.”
However, I can’t seem to find how to set “any page to be the front page of my site”, and the Static Front Page plug in doesn’t seem to be working with WP2.1.
UPDATE: NM. I found the option to set the static front page (under “Options: Reading” in case anybody else is as confused as I was). Carry on with your previous discussion, already in progress, as I slink back to my cave…
