In reply to: Presenting my catagoryThanks for the advice guys. Glad its loading fast for you. I think i’m just being too anal. It doesn’t load as fast as say…my ‘release dates’ page. but then i guess thats just life cuz they’re different sizes by a long way.
would you know how to change the character limit of the lists in the archieve, so that there’s more text before the ‘more’ …’s.

In reply to: eventcalender activating troublehi. ive got it in the side menu for the time being but i find it pretty ugly so would prefer getting it working in the ‘keep it live’ page.
i have the plugin ‘CG-QuickPHP’ to enable php in the page but that hasn’t worked.
would it be easy for me, whom is of no template experience, to create the template with the code in? and how would i do this/assign it to the page.

BUT
I am trying to make the calender plugin appear on my ‘keep it live’ page but i am having trouble.
ive put the line ec3_get_calendar() into the page but it merely displays the line and not the plugin.

then simply cut, paste into the text editor, then cut and paste back in.

Also, how am I to add the tags etc that I apply using the buttons of the admin interface, if I have to do all the editing in a text editor.

In reply to: Strange Text/Symbol ErrorsI am copying test from word documents, notepads or web emails, and then pasting them into the admin interface to do the editing. then im pressing publish. at the time of publishing, everything in the window is correct. and, these errors have only shown up recently.
