Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Dashboard – errors with display modeI should also mention that I’m running several other wordpress blogs on the same server (on hostgator) and these are not showing the display problem. The dashboard display looks like this, http://www.turnspain.com/csvrb1.png, which is a file that somebody posted on another thread that happens to look like what I’m seeing.

In reply to: Dashboard – errors with display modeI did discover how to re-activate many of the plug-ins, though some wouldn’t activate. I’d like to know if there’s a way to backup the database from the dashboard when it’s in this state. Still no idea how to get the dashboard to display correctly.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Dashboard – errors with display modeI’m having the same problem with 2.8.1. When I log in to wp-admin, I get a text display, as if the GUI is turned off. I see the same problem with any browser (firefox or safari) on any computer. I turned off all the plug-ins, but that didn’t help. Now I can’t turn the plug-ins back on (it just says ‘loading…’). I’m hesitant to try anything further because I don’t want to create more problems. I don’t understand enough about how wordpress works to diagnose this myself.
The site in question is at http://www.mlm-with-ease.com.Any suggestions?
Thanks,
