In reply to: Website down due to maintenanceHi Tara,
I did that, that is when it converted from a message to a Server 500 error.
I got the following msg from my ISP:
I see that your ‘photo-gallery’ plugin is causing the issue and the following is being written to your site’s error_log file:[02-Feb-2016 19:13:28 UTC] PHP Warning: require_once(/home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/photo-gallery/admin/controllers/BWGControllerWidget.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/photo-gallery/photo-gallery.php on line 557

In reply to: Need to view WP site and by-pass index.htmlThanks Bill. I am aware of that.
I am trying to show the site to people without it being “live”.
So the general public would still see the index.html but I could give the index.php link and they would see the site.
Don’t know if that is possible anymore?Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Moving files to rootSo where do I change that?
My database isn’t changing, is it?

In reply to: Moving files to rootThanks esmi,
When I said I read the documentation, that is what I read. 🙂I am confused by:
“If database and URL remains the same, you can move by just copying your files and database.”
Where do I copy the database from and to if everything stays the same?
Thanks
