On a second note… I realized that the AskApache plugin version 2.0 (found it lurking in my archives) that I found IS working after I activated it. Sure, it made noise about having an updated version, but for now, seems to be serving its purpose.
Not sure about later versions though… if anyone of you managed to get it working, do drop a note here.

Yup. Am resorting to reading up AskApache’s documentation. Hope this gets fixed soon – its an important plugin alright.

I got the same 2 errors you described. Don’t bother submitting the password… it locked me out of my wp-admin. If you come across the solution, would appreciate if you drop a note here.

In reply to: Askapache Password Protect Plug InHi Hall, strange, I’m facing this same issue you described. Once the plugin is activated, and new password submitted, entire wp-admin is locked out. Tried it on several new installs and over different hosting companies and am getting same result. Anyone any suggestion?
