That’s a conflict with the Bad Behavior plugin. If you go to Bad Behavior’s settings and check the “Allow Offsite Forms” option, this error will no longer appear.

You can also turn Jetpack Comments off by clicking on Learn More, then Deactivate on the Jetpack menu.

It isn’t currently possible to do this.

Disable the standalone Grunion Contact Form. It is now part of Jetpack. Jetpack should have done this on upgrade.

The other gallery function is likely a plugin that needs to be deactivated. Take a look through your active plugins list and see what is active.

This issue should be resolved in the latest versions of Jetpack. Please let us know if there are still any problems.

We are working on ways to better auto-detect the theme’s colors and fonts for use in the comment frame. A stylesheet is unlikely in the near future. It isn’t a triviality when dealing with millions of installs and the associated commenters.

There is not a way to default those options to checked. We experimented with this for a bit and got a resounding majority of users telling us that they preferred checking the box if desired.

As far as users getting the notifications: they will only receive them if they have fully signed up (and signed up in the first place). There’s a two step confirmation process to a new subscription to prevent spamming someone. So if a user doesn’t complete this. then they won’t get notifications.
